Why would it take a year to change the process in continuous flow? Have you not heard of the Improvement Kata? Using continuous flow I can respond to customer feedback far faster than waiting two weeks until the end of the sprint. If the customer tells me something is wrong, I can put it on the Kanban straight away. "1 year to change" is a ludicrous comparison if you ask me.
