Hi David, I'm also interested to hear when you think that a team should come up with a solution? I think the advice to estimate based solely on the complexity of the problem is very impractical. There may be 3 different ways to solve a problem, each taking vastly different amounts of time, so if we can't choose a path how can we estimate the level of effort involved?
